COLOMBO (Oct 14) – Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha held talks with Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary Tilvin Silva to discuss recent developments in the India–Sri Lanka partnership and explore ways to deepen economic cooperation.
The Indian High Commission in Colombo said in a social media post on Monday that the meeting focused on “recent developments in the #IndiaSriLanka partnership” and the “limitless potential of closer economic ties for mutual prosperity of the people of India and Sri Lanka.”
The discussion comes as both nations work to expand collaboration in trade, energy, and connectivity under ongoing regional initiatives.
