Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif Departs for Saudi Arabia for Day-Long Visit

Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif begins day-long visit to Saudi Arabia for talks with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on bilateral and regional matters.

ISLAMABAD, Sept. 17 – Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday left for Saudi Arabia on a day-long visit where he will meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss bilateral ties, along with regional and global developments.

The Foreign Office said the visit comes at the invitation of the Crown Prince.

High-Level Delegation Accompanies PM

Shehbaz Sharif is accompanied by:

  • Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar

  • Defence Minister Khawaja Asif

  • Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb

  • Information Minister Attaullah Tarar

  • Environment Minister Musadik Malik

  • Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi

According to officials, discussions are expected to focus on economic cooperation, investment opportunities, and regional security issues.
