ISLAMABAD (Aug 21) – Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Thursday held the 6th round of the Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue in Islamabad, reviewing the entire spectrum of bilateral ties and regional issues of mutual concern.
Dar, addressing a joint press conference, said the discussions were “fruitful and substantive,” covering diverse areas of cooperation. According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, the talks focused on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) 2.0, strengthening trade and economic links, enhancing multilateral cooperation, and promoting people-to-people exchanges.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and global developments, underscoring their “all-weather strategic partnership.”
