DHAKA (Aug 21) – Bangladesh and Pakistan have approved a draft agreement allowing visa-free travel for diplomatic and official passport holders between the two countries, officials confirmed Wednesday.
The decision came during the weekly meeting of the advisory council, chaired by Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus.
According to a press release issued by the Cabinet Division, the “draft agreement on reciprocal visa exemption for diplomatic and official passport holders of Bangladesh and Pakistan has been approved.”
The agreement, once signed, is expected to ease travel for diplomats and government officials, signaling a step towards smoother bilateral engagements between Dhaka and Islamabad.
