South Asian Integrated News (SAIN) Network is a media company committed to solutions and advocacy journalism, with a strong focus on sustainability issues in the South Asian region and its people. It covers and advocates the issues of sustainability from the South Asian region and aims at seeking solutions through its coverage. Extending beyond the traditional role of journalism, SAIN Network focuses on the 27 percent of South Asia’s population that resides in the most densely populated areas of the world, a large segment of which is vulnerable due to scarcity or lack of resources for basic sustainability. Climate change impacts in past years have exacerbated the struggles of this population, which already faces deprivation of essentials such as food, health & wellbeing, education, and employment opportunities. The absence of just and equitable societies further compounds these challenges.
