Kathmandu, 25 October, 2025: Nepal’s Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has appealed to political and social groups staging street protests to engage in dialogue with the government instead of resorting to agitation. Speaking to the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) after a high-level security meeting, Aryal emphasized that the government is “always ready for dialogue and discussion to resolve issues.”
The security meeting, held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sushila Karki at her official residence in Baluwatar, reviewed the nation’s current security situation. The minister underscored that while exercising one’s rights, it is vital to respect the rights of others and avoid property damage or violence.
Aryal reiterated the government’s commitment to maintaining peace and stability ahead of the upcoming March 5 election, assuring that all necessary measures are being taken to create a secure environment.
