India Israel special strategic partnership: India and Israel have elevated their bilateral ties to a “special strategic partnership,” reaffirming cooperation in defence, technology, agriculture, and innovation.

Both sides also pledged to expedite negotiations on a long-pending Free Trade Agreement (FTA), aimed at boosting bilateral trade and investment flows.

Officials described the move as a significant milestone in diplomatic relations, reflecting deepening security collaboration and growing economic engagement.
